One of my favorite types of photography is studio photography. Being a Reno, NV portrait photographer becomes increasingly difficult in the winter months in Reno if you don’t have a photography studio to photograph in. Having control of the environment and not having to worry about what time of day it is, or if the sun is in the perfect position, or is the wind going to be a problem, or was it supposed to snow today are all concerns that really never come up when photographing in the studio. As a portrait photographer it gives you a lot of flexibility on how you will choose to light the portrait or headshot. The tools that you use in the studio are critical to creating a great photo. You need the proper lighting equipment, lighting diffusers, reflectors, stands, booms, bounces, sand bags, backdrops, seamless paper, cyclorama wall, wireless triggers, and computer for live view, to name a few. You also can never underestimate the importance of a great hair and make up artist and the difference they make in the final product. Our Reno photography studio has all the amenities any great studio should offer. The studio has two offices, a comfortable lobby, fridge, coffee, microwave, two restrooms, private dressing room, seamless back drop system, roll up door for motorcycle and car photography, and our cyclorama wall is currently being built!
I recently got to photograph some business portraits and headshots in the Reno, NV Photography Studio. Dr. Chris, who I blogged about a couple weeks ago, is writing a book/building a website on health and happiness. Dr. Chris is by far one of the healthiest and physically fit people I have ever met. He came all the way from Yuba City to work with me after seeing my portfolio. I was very honored to be able to create some professional portraits of him for his new book and website. Check out a few photos from our most recent shoot and give me a call at 775-525-1499 or email me at email@example.com to book your portrait session in our Reno photography Studio!
